A Musical Voyage:
Damian pours his boundless passion into Music Composition and Audio Production, crafting evocative scores and songs that resonate deeply. His journey began in 2002 at United International Pictures in Sydney, distributors for Paramount, Universal, and Dreamworks, where he mixed hundreds of movie trailers and commercials, sharpening his production skills. His compositional talent shines in works like the score for "Rewilding," premiered in Dolby Atmos at The Chinese Theatre in LA in 2022, and "The Boy In The Snow," which won Best Musical Score at The Seville Film Festival in 2023. He’s also composed for numerous ads, films, and documentaries, blending melody and emotion with precision.
A pivotal moment came when Damian took the helm as producer for indie pop band Expatriate. This project sparked a cascade of life-changing milestones: securing a Universal recording deal, an EMI publishing contract, and sharing stages with icons like LCD Soundsystem, Placebo, and Queens of the Stone Age. These experiences drew him to Berlin, his vibrant creative hub.
In 2014, he founded NeonNursery, a Berlin-based music production company serving clients like Dreamworks, Paramount, Mercedes, Saatchi, and Toyota. Today, Damian composes and produces in his own studio and collaborates with production houses across Singapore, Sydney and Berlin weaving music that captivates and inspires.
